Wilderness RV Park in Robertsdale, Alabama We visited this park on October 23, 2014, and stayed for 7 day(s).
Fairly spread out and rustic, away from most of the highway noise, this park is just what we were looking for. It’s big rig friendly, although we had a few doubts about the tree canopy at the entrance. We took it slow and nothing dragged across our air conditioners or roof.
There’s a good mix of 30 and 50 AMP sites, shaded and non-shade sites. Since the weather is beautiful in late October, we opted for a site between the trees. We prefer to have the windows open and only run the AC when it’s super hot or sticky.
All of the sites at Wilderness RV Park are full hook-up and pull-thru. It also has all the amenities: laundry, bathhouse, a nice clubhouse, pool and pavilion, as well as a couple of stocked fishing ponds. We parked on sand here, but the sites are level and spacious.
Memberships honored here include RPI, Lagniappe, Coast to Coast, and Passport America. We stayed with our RPI membership at a cost of $13/night.
