Deer Ridge Camping Resort

Deer Ridge Camping Resort in Richmond, Indiana
We visited this park on October 19, 2013, and stayed for 1 day(s).

deerridgesiteviewA quaint old campground that still has potential but needs upgrading and maintenance. The owners admit they used to do more but they aren’t physically able to keep up with the park maintenance and operations as they one did.

Our pull through site was very narrow, the curb side a sloped hill that was covered with leaves and Black Walnut husks which made it slippery and required you to remove your shoes before entering the rig to prevent staining floors and carpeting.

Water pressure was adequate, but they warned about wasting water as they were on a well.

The location of the park in conjunction with the interstate (I-70) was convenient but the highway noise was noticeable throughout the night.

WiFi at our site (Upper Pull Thru) was nill.
