Omro RV Park
Omro RV Park in Omro, WisconsinWe visited this park on April 22, 2017, and stayed for 22 day(s).
Omro RV Park is our go-to campground when we’re in our hometown area to visit family. It’s one step above boondocking with only an electrical hookup, but it’s near where we want to be and the price is right at $100/week.
Of the 30 sites available, only two sites have 50 amp power, the remainder being 30 amp. There is fresh water and a dump station on premises, and two nice, clean, large bathrooms with showers and plenty of hot water. We rely on the facilities for showering and save our on-board water for washing dishes and incidentals, moving the bus weekly to refill fresh water and dump our tanks.
Omro RV Park is right off US Hwy 21, so access is easy. There’s a Piggly Wiggly grocery store next door and they keep a path mowed between it and the park. A full-service BP station is also nearby.
