Sleepy Sunflower RV Park

Sleepy Sunflower RV Park in Ogallala, Nebraska
We visited this park on August 27, 2017, and stayed for 1 day(s).

The Sleepy Sunflower RV Park is perfect for an overnight stop along I-80 in western Nebraska. Overnight sites are long and pull-through, with plenty of room side-to-side. You’re right off the highway, so expect some road noise, but with the AC on we didn’t notice it.

Sleepy Sunflower RV Park accepts both Passport America and Escapees discounts of 50%, so our one night stay with full 50 AMP hook-ups was only $18.

Amenities

  • 50 AMP full hook-ups
  • Free WiFi
  • Locked Restrooms/Showers
  • Guest Parlor with Book Exchange, TV, Exercise Equipment, Games, and Vending Machine
  • Laundry Room

There’s a TA truck stop just up the street from Sleepy Sunflower, which we used to diesel up before getting to the park. There’s also a Walmart almost within walking distance, as well as a Shopko Hometown.

We pulled the car off the dolly to check out Ogallala and nearby McConaughy Lake State Recreation Area. This area could easily be a destination stop if you have time to explore.

More information about Sleepy Sunflower RV Park can be found on their website.
