West Omaha – NE Lincoln KOA

West Omaha / NE Lincoln KOA in Gretna, Nebraska
We visited this park on August 26, 2017, and stayed for 1 day(s).

The West Omaha / NE Lincoln KOA is a busy ‘Holiday’ class park with a lot of activities for families with young children. We’ve stayed here twice, the first time in July for four nights while we worked an event in nearby Omaha. This last time was a simple overnight and we opted to save a few bucks by taking a water/electric only pull-through site.

The West Omaha / NE Lincoln KOA is a winner of the 2017 KOA President’s Award. They accept big rigs, but it is a little tight to navigate the park. Actually, the first turn coming off the street and into the park itself is a little tight too. Staff is friendly and helpful. Sites are adequate in size, though definitely not roomy, and the park is well-kept in appearance.

Amenities

Amenities include 50 AMP electric, full hook-up sites, most (if not all) with a patio, free cable TV and WiFi, a nice laundry room ($2.00/wash), camp store (with local wine ;-), swimming pool, large jumping pillow, zip line, mini golf, and more.

Jerry has become a fan of the Hunt Brothers Pizza offered at this and other KOA’s. Just order and they bring it direct to your RV.

It’s pricey for an overnight at $47. We saved a few bucks with our VKR card, which basically covered our taxes. We tend to stay at KOA’s when we’re traveling because it’s convenient and they’ve always treated us right.
