Captain’s Log

A major piece of optional equipment many want or find in the RV they are considering to purchase is a generator. RV Generators can be powered by gasoline, diesel or LPG and require maintenance to keep them in tip top condition so that they start and run when you need them.

If you’re an RV owner, you know that a small annoyance can often turn into something much, much more. A few drops of water can later turn out to be a significant water leak…more than an annoyance, it could turn out to be a costly repair. The same holds true for your rig’s ride – an intermittent shimmy and shake cannot be ignored.
At RV Parks & Campgrounds that DO NOT have sewer hookups, RVers undergo a routine of visiting the Dump Station on their way out…or as needed during their stay. It’s not the most pleasant of tasks, but it doesn’t have to be disgusting either if all RVers comply with the rules and do it properly.
At $7 the attraction price might be a little steep for the size of the exhibit, but if you are into photography or marketing, prepare to be inspired. The H.H. Bennett Studio is the oldest operating business in Wisconsin Dells, as well as the oldest operating studio in the USA – in operation since 1865.
